In the Stiftland, in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria), near the Czech border and on the Porcelain Road, Mitterteich is a town in the Tirschenreuth district (Landkreis). It had about 6,600 inhabitants at the end of 2023 on some 39 km². It lies some 30 km north of Weiden.
