Set in the Lower Rhine plain, on the left bank of the river, Issum is a municipality in the district of Kleve, in North Rhine-Westphalia. It had about 12,400 inhabitants at the end of 2025 and covers some 55 km². It borders Geldern, Kerken, Sonsbeck and Kamp-Lintfort, among others.
