Hückelhoven is a town in the Heinsberg district of North Rhine-Westphalia, which gained municipal city status in 1969. It had around 41,100 inhabitants at the end of 2025 and covers an area of some 61 km², comprising several localities. It is twinned with Hartlepool, Breteuil-sur-Iton and Wildau.
