In the heart of the Elz valley, within the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, Elzach is a town in Baden-Württemberg, in the Emmendingen district. It had about 7,500 inhabitants at the end of 2023 and covers some 75 km², divided into five districts: Elzach, Yach, Prechtal, Oberprechtal and Katzenmoos.
