Dingolfing is a town in Lower Bavaria, the seat of the district (Landkreis) of Dingolfing-Landau, crossed by the Isar, at an elevation of 365 m and some 100 km north-east of Munich. It had around 20,700 inhabitants at the end of 2024 and covers about 44 km².
