Bruchsal is the most populous town in the Karlsruhe district (Landkreis) of Baden-Württemberg, on the Saalbach. It had about 47,800 inhabitants at the end of 2024 and covers some 93 km²; its former Landkreis was merged into that of Karlsruhe in 1973.
