Au in der Hallertau is a market municipality (Markt) in Upper Bavaria, in the Freising district, stretched along the Abens valley. It had about 6,300 inhabitants at the end of 2024 and covers some 55 km². It borders in particular Rudelzhausen, Nandlstadt, Attenkirchen and Wolnzach.
