On the Küssnachtersee, the northern arm of Lake Lucerne, and on the southwest shore of Lake Zug, Küssnacht is a municipality in the canton of Schwyz at the foot of the Rigi. It had about 14,200 inhabitants in 2024; its elevation ranges from 413 m at Lake Zug to nearly 1,800 m at Rigi Kulm.
