Thuin is a French-speaking municipality in Hainaut (Belgium), the administrative seat of its arrondissement in the south of the province, on the Sambre. It has eight sections and around 14,900 inhabitants on 76 km². Its UNESCO-listed belfry overlooks the town, and the ruins of Aulne Abbey lie at Gozée.
