On the border with the Czech Republic, in the northern Weinviertel, Laa an der Thaya is a town in Lower Austria, in the Mistelbach district. It had about 6,300 inhabitants on 1 January 2024 and covers nearly 73 km². The Thaya has been regulated there since 1830.
