In Örebro, Närke Kulturbryggeri is a cult favourite of the Swedish craft beer scene, renowned for its rare and remarkably precise brews. Stormaktsporter (~8.9%) offers a dense body with notes of coffee, cocoa and dark fruits; Kaggen! Stormaktsporter, aged in casks, develops notes of vanilla, wood and oxidative complexity; Konjaks! explores ageing in cognac casks. The brewery favours long fermentations and extended maturation, producing deep, rich and sought-after beers. A highly precise, almost artisanal approach, far removed from mass production.
