In the heart of Kuldīga, the small Kurzeme town UNESCO-listed for its old centre and the Venta waterfall, DUNA animates the revitalised Kaļķu iela quarter. This independent family brewery pairs precision with design: refined lagers, modern ales and IPAs, cuvées matured in Burgundy oak barrels, but also lemonades and botanical alcohol-free drinks made from natural ingredients. Across from the tanks, its taproom with kitchen and shop pours the output at its freshest, while guided tours, concerts and cultural events make the place much more than a brewery: a slice of Kuldīga life.
